Professional Actor Study Adult SUMMER SUNDAYS

This class is designed for actors who have either already had serious training, are working professionally already, or have studied with Estes previously and have been admitted. Actors seeking to work seriously in Film, Television, and Theatre. Class will focus on scene study, building an unbreakable sense of truth, and general fine tuning of acting technique. This class will also be a good place for working actors to work their chops. We will also touch on Dialects, and any requested work by the students.
Adult Acting Intermediate / Advanced SUMMER

This will be a scene study class for the intermediate to advanced actor. Actors must either have at least one year of scene study, the recommendation of the instructor, or have had previous training. Class will focus on scene study, building an unbreakable sense of truth, and general fine tuning of acting technique. Students will work on the fundamentals of performance and character development incorporating the techniques of Uta Hagen, Sanford Meisner and Constantine Stanislavsky. Script analysis, sense of truth, and personalization will also be vital to developing your scenes and monologues. This will be a fun, safe learning environment culminating in a class showcase at the end for invited guests.

This will be an introductory class for the new or beginning actor focusing on the basics of acting, scene study, performance technique, working in a collaborative setting, and the techniques of Uta Hagen, Stanislavsky, and Sanford Meisner. Students will also focus on building their sense of play in a group setting and a safe environment. The beginnings of script analysis, sense of truth, and personalization will also be achieved. Commercial work will also be addressed as well as on camera technique. This will be a fun and safe learning environment culminating in a class showcase at the end for invited guests.

TWO WEEK Actor-Filmmaker Summer Camp
with Estes Tarver

This TWO WEEK Camp starting June 13th will dive into creating content for Moonlight's YouTube Channel as well as Short Film Projects for Students. You DO NOT HAVE TO BE AN ACTOR. If you are interested in Editing, Acting, Writing, Camera Work, or Production, this camp is for you! You can do any and all of these aspects of Filmmaking. Camp will be ages 13 + as we will also be going to locations to shoot so TEENS and Young Adults will need Permission to leave the premises. We may also shoot at night some. TBD on that. Students will learn about Acting, Directing, Writing, Production, and how to make Films! They will work on Projects for Moonlights YouTube as well as their own projects of interest. Shakespeare Sessions SUMMER

For actors 16 and up, this class serves young actors seeking to find monologues for auditions as well as experienced actors seeking a deeper understanding and practice in working in Shakespeare. Work in the class is tailored to the individual actor and is conducted in a master-class format, with each student working in each class. Class is capped at 6 to ensure individual instruction and begins with a pre-course interview to determine the student’s goals for the course.
ACTING AND WRITING Summer Camp for Teens!

Time: 9 a.m.- 4pm P.M.
Spend the week using your imaginations to create short plays and scenes to be performed at a showcase on Friday! Learn about acting, writing, and dramatic structure with Rachel and Hayley! Writing the script! Rehearsing it! and then Performing it for an audience on Friday!! Students will do work with Hayley on creating pieces as well as working them and Rachel on rehearsal and performance of students original pieces as well as the new works! We will build confidence, learn how to create characters and think on our feet! Camp will end in a showcase for parents and Friends!
ACTING Summer Camp for Tweens!

Time: 9 a.m. -12.00 P.M.
Spend the mornings using your imaginations to create amazing characters and work on fun scenes from plays and youth material to be performed at a showcase on Friday! Learn about story telling, creating fun characters, entertaining an audience, and just how to have a great time collaborating, making new friends while acting! Students will use age appropriate material, rehearse, also write some of their own stuff and perform it for an audience on Friday!! Students will work with Rachel on rehearsal and performance of scenes and original pieces! We will build confidence, learn how to create characters and think on our feet! Camp will end in a showcase for parents and Friends!
