In conjunction with Carrie Marshall Music, this 12 session vocal artist intensive is for singers OR songwriters. Carrie will format a specific program tailored to each individual. All levels welcome, from beginner to professional!

The intensive includes:

10-  45 minute, private sessions 

2 - group classes (held on Fridays 5-6:30 p.m.)

1 - showcase

In private sessions, Carrie specializes in helping clients find their artistic voice and freedom with singing & performance artistry. From troubleshooting issues surrounding technique & vocal control, to the mental and behavioral challenges that can plague performers (performance anxiety, confidence and stage presence, etc.) Carrie comes alongside each student to customize a vocal regimen that is applicable for them specifically, addressing their issues and concerns. 

Songwriters will explore their unique voice and writing style. Focus will be on the craft of songwriting, song and harmonic structure, lyrics and music theory.

 Group vocal sessions gives each student a chance to practice performing, whether it’s  getting comfortable singing in front of others, sharing original material or workshopping a song before an audition or performance. Group sessions are a wonderful way to collaborate, gain confidence and meet other vocal artists and songwriters! An option to do 12 private sessions and showcase is available to students who can't make the Friday group classes for an additional $70 fee.

 The final showcase is a ticketed event, open to the public giving students professional level performance experience.

This class is designed for actors who have either already had serious training, are working professionally already, have a theatre degree, or have studied with Estes previously and have been admitted. It is for Actors seeking to work professionally in Film, Television, and Theatre or to work at that level.  Class will focus on scene study, building an unbreakable sense of truth, and general fine tuning of acting technique.  This class will also be a good place for working actors to work their chops. We will also touch on Dialects, and any requested work by the students. $50.00 Non-refundable deposit to reserve a spot. This will be a scene study class for the advanced actor. Actors must either have the recommendation of the instructor from the intermiediate level class, or have had sufficient training to be admitted. Class will focus on scene study, building an unbreakable sense of truth, and general fine tuning of acting technique. Students will work on performance and character development incorporating the techniques of Uta Hagen, Sanford Meisner and Stanislavsky. Script analysis, sense of truth, and personalization will also be vital to developing your scenes and monologues. This will be a fun, safe learning environment culminating in a class showcase at the end for invited guests.

This will be a scene study class for the intermediate actor. Actors must either have at least one year of scene study in Fundamentals, or have the recommendation of the fundamentals instructor, or have had sufficient previous training to be admitted. Class will focus on taking the principals from fundamentals and apply them to help the actor take bigger personal risks and make stronger choices. This will be done primarily through scene study. Actors will continue to work on building a strong sense of truth, acting technique. Students will work on the fundamentals of performance and character development incorporating the techniques of Uta Hagen, Sanford Meisner and Constantine Stanislavsky. Script analysis, sense of truth, and personalization will also be incorporated to help develop your scenes and monologues. This will be a fun, safe learning environment culminating in a class showcase at the end for invited guests.

This will be an introductory class for the new or beginning actor focusing on the basics of acting, scene study, performance technique, working in a collaborative setting, and the techniques of Uta Hagen, Stanislavsky, and Sanford Meisner. Students will also focus on building their sense of play in a group setting and a safe environment. The beginnings of script analysis, sense of truth, and personalization will also be achieved. Commercial work will also be addressed as well as on camera technique. This will be a fun and safe learning environment culminating in a class showcase at the end for invited guests. $50.00 Non-refundable deposit to hold a spot.

If you want to build your confidence, learn to create characters and environment, and quicken your wit, then long form improv is for you. In this 8 week course we will learn several structures for long form improv. We will break down what makes a scene work, as well as what keeps a scene from being successful. You will be challenged to create unique characters, to trust your instincts and to support your classmates. Improv training, can benefit you creatively as well as professionally. If your work requires networking or public speaking, then improv will sharpen those skills and build your confidence. All skill and experience levels are welcome. Our 8 week session will culminate in a showcase for friends and family and possibly in one of our Moonlight Improv Show nights! This class will meet 8 weeks with no class on the one of the weeks TBD
