VOCAL PERFORMANCE TROUPE

Ages: 12 - 18

Moonlight meets Pitch Perfect!  Vocal Troupe is for singers age 12+ who are performance ready. Students must be able to sing  harmonies and feel comfortable with carrying solos for performances at Moonlight and around the Triangle. 

This class is audition only for students who have previous vocal training and/or experience. Feel free to reach out to Carrie for more information and to set up an audition.

Payment plan available: $50 deposit plus 5 payments of $65.00, paid weekly.

Teen Advanced Acting

with Estes Tarver

Calendar Sep 11, 2024 at 6:30 pm, runs for 10 weeks

This is an advanced acting class designed for actors who have already studied with Estes or have significant performance experience. Admitance into class will be by interview/audition only or through previous work with Estes. Techniques for Stage, Television, and Film will be addressed as well as skills working towards bold, strong character choices and professional level acting skills. Some current students are already working professionally or auditioning and performing regularly in theatre, film, and television. That is certainly not a requirement but must be committed to learning. $50.00 Non-refundable deposit to hold a spot. To interview email Estes at etarver@mac.com

Teen Scene Study

Calendar Sep 18, 2024 at 5 pm, runs for 10 weeks

This class is for teenagers with a desire to learn more about acting, script analysis, character, and world building through the exploration of scenes and monologues. In a comfortable and fun learning environment we will focus on the the personalization of scenes and relationships to scene partners. Students will learn and hone key tools including objective, obstacle, actions, and physicality, while encouraging their inner confidence and playfulness. It is the goal to have every student give themselves permission to stretch the limits of what they believe a scene or monologue contains so that they can reach the heights of their imagination and take the journey to becoming a great actor with disciplined but fun and imaginative technique. $50.00 non-refundable deposit to hold a spot.
