In conjunction with Carrie Marshall Music, this 12 session vocal artist intensive is for young singers just beginning their journey into singing! Carrie will format a specific program tailored to each individual, teaching singing fundamentals such as breathing, relaxation, pitch, ear training and more! We will begin building song repertoire, tailored to the student's interests.

This track includes:

10  30 minute, private sessions 

2 group classes (held on Fridays 5-6:30 p.m.)

1 showcase

A designated day/time for private sessions will be given to each student, TBD after registration. Group vocal sessions on select Fridays gives each student a chance to practice performing, whether it’s  getting comfortable singing in front of others, sharing original material or workshopping a song before an audition or performance. Group sessions are a wonderful way to collaborate, gain confidence and meet other vocal artists and songwriters!

If students are unable to do Friday group classes, there is an option to do 11 private sessions only (plus showcase) for an additional $65 fee.

The final showcase is open to the public gives us a chance to strut our stuff!

In private sessions, Carrie specializes in helping clients find their artistic voice and freedom with singing & performance artistry. From troubleshooting issues surrounding technique & vocal control, to the mental and behavioral challenges that can plague performers (performance anxiety, confidence and stage presence, etc.) Carrie comes alongside each student to customize a vocal regimen that is applicable for them specifically, addressing their issues and concerns. 

Songwriters will explore their unique voice and writing style. Focus will be on the craft of songwriting, song and harmonic structure, lyrics and music theory.

 Group vocal sessions gives each student a chance to practice performing, whether it’s  getting comfortable singing in front of others, sharing original material or workshopping a song before an audition or performance. Group sessions are a wonderful way to collaborate, gain confidence and meet other vocal artists and songwriters! An option to do 12 private sessions and showcase is available to students who can't make the Friday group classes for an additional $70 fee.

 The final showcase is a ticketed event, open to the public giving students professional level performance experience.

For the beginning piano student! Carrie teaches a blend of piano fundamentals, from reading music to basic music theory. This track is a 3 month commitment and includes 11 private sessions (Time/Day to be determined after registration) and 1 showcase!

This class is designed for actors who have either already had serious training, are working professionally already, have a theatre degree, or have studied with Estes previously and have been admitted. It is for Actors seeking to work professionally in Film, Television, and Theatre or to work at that level.  Class will focus on scene study, building an unbreakable sense of truth, and general fine tuning of acting technique.  This class will also be a good place for working actors to work their chops. We will also touch on Dialects, and any requested work by the students. $50.00 Non-refundable deposit to reserve a spot. This is an advanced acting class designed for actors who have already studied with Estes or have significant performance experience. Admitance into class will be by interview/audition only or through previous work with Estes. Techniques for Stage, Television, and Film will be addressed as well as skills working towards bold, strong character choices and professional level acting skills. Some current students are already working professionally or auditioning and performing regularly in theatre, film, and television. This class is designed to give young actors a foundational knowledge of acting principles and practice working with comedic and dramatic texts. In an open and comfortable learning environment, students will explore ways to find the fun story of a scene. Class will use games and exercises to help build the reality of the world, create a character’s perspective and motivation, and explore the arc of their relationships. Students will study acting fundamentals including blocking, story arc, character development and also the exploration of audition technique and acting for stage and film. We will learn that there’s no way to do it right, there is the personal way of each actor. and that all the play we explore in class fits right into the world of an audition! The goal of this class is to encourage new and returning actors to go into their Showcase, classes and beyond with a firm, confident foundation under their feet and a hunger to learn and play more. A $50 deposit is required to hold a space in the class.

This fun and welcoming scene study class is great training for the beginner and experienced young actor. The kids will work on scenes and monologues that are FOR KIDS. We will have fun playing games and doing fun scenes. They will learn some text skills and dialogue skills while having fun and being engaged! This class is also good for young actors interested in both stage and TV/FILM. Rachel is a great instructor who will grow their confidence and skills at the same time.
