This will be an introductory class for the new or beginning actor focusing on the basics of acting, scene study, performance technique, working in a collaborative setting, and the techniques of Uta Hagen, Stanislavsky, and Sanford Meisner. Students will also focus on building their sense of play in a group setting and a safe environment. The beginnings of script analysis, sense of truth, and personalization will also be achieved. Commercial work will also be addressed as well as on camera technique. In a comfortable and fun learning environment we will focus on the the personalization of scenes and relationships to scene partners.
